Current recorded demographics are based on a population of 9,520 residents according to the 2000 Census. Since 2000 two more residential developments have been completed or are under construction, for a total number of 1331 additional units as of summer 2008. An additional 1,160 units are expected over the next 5 years.
An attempt to update the 2000 demographics is under way, in advance of the next official Census.
