The Halloween Parade on October 24th was a huge success with the Marching Band playing and many creative costumes that were seen. The parade was met with great fan fare, and a good time was had by all.

On October 29th, the Roosevelt Island Public Safety Department and SafeKids NYC co-sponsored the 2nd Annual Halloween Safety Day. A presentation was made by SafeKids with very informative tips on how to be safe on Halloween. The children also received some treats from the Youth Officer.
