Residents Association Common Council meeting
When  : Wednesday, September 3rd @ 8:00pm
Where : Good Shepherd Community Center (lower level)
Meetings are open to all, and begin with an opportunity for residents to address the Council.

Public Safety Department Youth Summit
When  : Wednesday, September 10th @ 6:30pm
Where :
P.S./ I.S. 217 Cafeteria
Forum for youths in the community (and their parents) to hear important information about the law.
Refreshments will be served.

RIOC Board Meeting
When  : Thursday, September 11th @ 4:30pm
Where : Good Shepherd Community Center
Town Hall meeting, at end of formal session, for residents comments and questions.

Swimming at Sportspark: Open Swim
Due to the community's request, we have modified the open swim schedule as follows:

Adults Only
When: Tuesday 6:00 - 9:00 & Saturday 4:00 - 7:00
All Ages
When: Thursday 6:00 - 9:00 & Saturday 12:00 - 3:00

Anyone under 18 Must be accompanied by an Adult

Sportspark Swim Center - East side entrance 250 Main Street

Seniors Swim Free at ALL Open Swim Times

Island Musical Theatre Workshop for beginners and show biz vets!
Dance and sing in "Smokey Joe's Café REVUE"!
When: Saturday mornings 10:30am - 12:30pm
Where: The Main Street Theatre and Dance Alliance
Featuring songs on Broadway, Young Blood, Ruby, Ruby, Dance With Me, Trouble, Poison Ivy,

Performances in March. We welcome beginners.
